What artifact took the longest time to find it‘s way from it‘s production place to you?

A watched I inherited from my granddad. I think I have no clue if its a 2 euro purchase from a flea market or something expensive he bought for himself. Though its intrinsic value is not important, because of the story attached. This was my granddad's fancy watch, one he wore for years to seem classy and professional.
