What artefact took the longest time to find it‘s way from it‘s production place to you?

When I was on holiday with my family in Croatia, my brother and I went diving off a cliff into the water. Once we were in the water my brother started diving down because he saw something shiny. He came up with the ring in his hand and gave it to me. At the time the ring was way too big. Now, about ten years later, the ring fits and it is never coming off. The ring itself is engraved and appears to be from New York.
