What makes you think that time is moving too fast?

The amount of time until I get my “grown-up job”. From an early age I was always fixated on the amount of time left until I finish the current school phase I was in. For example: 3 more years than I go to high school, two more years until university. Now its 1 and a half years and then I start working, there is no next school phase.
