At what moment did you feel like you had to „grow up“ and be an adult?

A few years ago my uncle passed away at a very young age. It was sudden and out of nowhere, an incredibly sad time for everyone who knew him. Including of course myself. Though I almost felt it was more important to be there for my mom or grandma, then being sad or at least showing myself that way. I don’t know if I was actually acting that way at the time, but looking back that was a very maturing moment for me.
