What reminds you of your hometown?

Certain food can immediatly remind you of your home and your own culture. The object, that always reminds me the most of my hometown is a "Bretzel" (pretzel). Even though some people would rather associate it with the southern part of Germany or the bavarian culture, it always makes me feel more home when I eat it.
